7015 - Criminal Mischief, Randolph Township
On Thursday, 10-18-07 at 0716 hours a Randolph Police Officer responded to Route 10 at the southwest corner of the Millbrook Ave. after a report that a Randolph Township Police vehicle, which had been parked there, had been damaged. Upon arrival the Randolph Police Officer took photographs of all the damage to the vehicle. Further inspection of the vehicle revealed that all of the windows had been broken out other than the left rear door window. While taking the photos the Officer located a large rock, approximately 9 inches in diameter, lying on the ground in front of the vehicle. It appeared that the rock was used to damage the windshield multiple times. The damage done to the remaining windows appeared to have been caused by a different object, possibly a smaller rock. As the Officer opened the rear doors, he located a small “river rock” approximately 3 inches in diameter, inside the rear compartment.
