7009- Attempted Burglary
At 6:54pm, on May 15, 2007, the Lincoln Park Police Department responded to Stonyridge Drive within the Pinebrook Village Condo Complex. There was damage to a sliding glass door and a screen on a window, which appear to have been caused by a screwdriver or similar object. Entry was not gained into the residence. The attempt was believed to have been made between the hours of 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM.
While canvassing the area, patrol located similar damage to two units on the other side of the complex. These residents could not confirm if this damage was new or old.
The Lincoln Park Detective Bureau is currently investigating the incident(s). To date there has been no one who has reported anything suspicious or any witnesses who observed the suspect(s) or incident(s).

7008-Criminal Mischief in Roxbury
The Roxbury Township Police are investigating a string of criminal mischief incidents which have occurred in the Shore Hills section of Landing over the last three months. The following incidents are under investigation:
2/19/07 – Over 50 vehicles, street signs, boats, and buildings were spray painted with biased slurs using blue, silver and black spray paint.
3/28/07 – Unknown suspects purposely set fire to the playground located at Shore Hills Country Club. The fire damaged several pieces of equipment at the playground.
4/25/07 – Vehicles on Laurie Rd. were keyed and dented.
4/26/07 – A vehicle on Salmon Rd. had its tires slashed, sugar poured into the gas tank and had some type of liquid spilled throughout the interior.
5/8/07 – A vehicle on Matthew Ct. was struck by an actor with a baseball bat causing damage to the vehicle. Actor fled scene.
5/12/07 – Vehicles on Benson Pl. had their taillights and windshields smashed.
