7006 Strong-Arm Robbery Madison
Madison PD is investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred on 4/8/07 at approximately 0230 hours. Victim was walking on Main St. in Madison when he was approached by a white Toyota (believed to be a 2000-2002 Camry) occupied by 5 males. The front seat passenger asked the victim for directions to John Street, thanked him, and then drove away a short distance. Vehicle did a u-turn on Main Street and approached the victim once again. Front seat passenger and three back seat passengers exited the vehicle and approached the victim. One of the passengers grabbed the victim's hood from behind, at which point a black male actor confronted the victim, patted him down, and asked the victim "What you got?". Victim pulled out wallet and turned over $120.00 cash that he had in his wallet. Victim also removed his ring from his pinky finger and handed it to the actor. Actors then returned to the vehicle and drove away, headed west on Main Street The Victim stated that he believes the first the 3 characters of the NJ License plate was XKR or KKR. Actors are believed to be in their 20's. Actors are described as follows:
1) Driver - Never got out of vehicle. Black male, do-rag and white T-shirt.
2) Front Seat Passenger - Black male, 5'7", 160 lbs, black do-rag, white T-shirt, possibly
with thin goatee
3) Unknown race but believed to be Hispanic. Had black and skull bandanna over his face.
5'10" to 6'0", stocky build
4) Hispanic male 5'7" 160 lbs, curly brown hair, mustache and patch of hair under lip. The
This actor held his hands in his pocket as if he had a gun.
5) Black male 5'8" to 5'9", 180 lbs, partial goatee. Believed to have a tattoo of number "3"
under one eye. Appeared to be ring leader as he did all the talking
