6010- Identity Theft, Denville Township

On 3/14/06 at approximately 9:00 am, a citizen’s wallet was stolen within Denville. At approximately 11:00 am that same day, the victim’s driver’s license and Affinity credit card were presented at the Washington Mutual Bank at 431 Route 46 East in Dover in an attempt to obtain a cash advance from the credit card. The accused party, the white female in the photos, was seen leaving the bank parking lot as a passenger in a white older model sedan. The vehicle had an unknown NJ REG. and was operated by a black male.

6009- Criminal Mischief, Chester Borough

On Wednesday, March 8, 2006 between the hours of 4:00pm and 5:55pm at the Chester Springs Shopping Mall, a 2000 Green Dodge Intrepid was vandalized. The vehicle was parked in the vicinity of The American Tire & Auto Center. While the victim was inside the suspect or suspects vandalized the vehicle. Upon the victims return, damage was done to the tires of the vehicle and damage to the body of the vehicle. It is estimated the damage done to the vehicle to be in excess of $2500.00. Any persons having information regarding the incident is encouraged to call CrimeStoppers.

6008 - Carjacking Dover



On Saturday, March 4, 2006 between the hours of 6:00 am and 6:48 am, a victim was operating a taxi cab in the area of the Dover Train Station when he was approached by four black males. One of the black males approached the driver’s window and engaged the driver in conversation as the other three actors entered the taxi. An actor sitting behind the victim placed an aluminum pipe across the victim’s neck and dragged him out of the driver’s seat. The actor who engaged the driver in conversation then entered the taxi and drove away. The taxi entered a dead end street in the area of the train station where it struck a parked vehicle. The actors removed the victim’s wallet, containing $600.00 and two bank cards, and fled the area on foot in an unknown direction. The actor who engaged the victim in conversation is described as a black male in his late 20’s, approximately 5’6”-5’7” tall with a muscular build, short dark hair and a moustache. He was wearing a dark colored winter jacket, dark winter hat and dark jeans. The victim was able to describe the actor who engaged him in conversation.

6007 - Residential Burglaries Long Hill Township

The Long Hill Township Police Department and the Bernards Township Police Department are collectively investigating two residential burglaries, inclusive of a robbery, that occurred at a Rolling Hill Drive, Millington residence and a Martinsville Road, Bernards Township residence on Tuesday February 21, 2006.

The Rolling Hill Drive burglary occurred at approximately 8:00 am followed by the Martinsville Road burglary and robbery at 8:30 am. The suspect vehicle, a light green Nissan Altima with New York license plates, was last observed fleeing northbound on Martinsville Road, approaching Interstate Route 78. The suspect was described as a black male, mid 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 6’2” tall, clean shaven with a medium build. He was wearing a black ¾ length leather jacket and a black baseball cap. Witnesses place the suspect vehicle in the area of both incidents.

During the Rolling Hill Drive, Millington burglary, the homeowners were asleep when the suspect forced entry through a rear door to the house. During the Martinsville Road, Basking Ridge burglary and robbery the suspect was interrupted by a resident. Once confronted, the suspect proceeded to assault and threaten to kill the resident while demanding money.
