# 3004 - 02/04/03 Verizon, Route 202, Harding Township, NJ - Theft
On Tuesday, February 4th between the hours of 3:00 pm and 6:30 am the next day, fiber optic equipment totaling approximately $83,000 was taken from a parked Verizon truck. The vehicle, a white Chevy box truck, was parked in Verizon's parking lot located on Route 202, Harding Township.

# 3003 - 01/06/03 Madison, NJ - Criminal Mischief
On January 6th of this year, extensive acts of vandalism were discovered by contractors who were reporting for work at a home under construction on Garfield Avenue in Madison. Windows, sliding glass dorrs and appliances within the unfinished home were damaged. The vandalism also included the contractors truck and tractor.
A short time later, additional acts of damager were discovered in the area of Crossgates Road. There, decorative lamps, windows, signs and lamp posts were destroyed. Police believe that several youths on foot were responsible for the damage at both locations. It appears that these acts occurred overnight probably between midnight and 6:00 p.m.
