7008-Criminal Mischief in Roxbury
The Roxbury Township Police are investigating a string of criminal mischief incidents which have occurred in the Shore Hills section of Landing over the last three months. The following incidents are under investigation:
2/19/07 – Over 50 vehicles, street signs, boats, and buildings were spray painted with biased slurs using blue, silver and black spray paint.
3/28/07 – Unknown suspects purposely set fire to the playground located at Shore Hills Country Club. The fire damaged several pieces of equipment at the playground.
4/25/07 – Vehicles on Laurie Rd. were keyed and dented.
4/26/07 – A vehicle on Salmon Rd. had its tires slashed, sugar poured into the gas tank and had some type of liquid spilled throughout the interior.
5/8/07 – A vehicle on Matthew Ct. was struck by an actor with a baseball bat causing damage to the vehicle. Actor fled scene.
5/12/07 – Vehicles on Benson Pl. had their taillights and windshields smashed.
